What does this mean?
When you donate to Friends of Mercy, your gift is designated for the work of our ministry and then doubled.
Friends of Mercy receives your gift. At the direction of Pastor Chuchu, we send the funds to LCMS World Relief. They double the gift and send it to the designated bank account for the project (*see below for administrative policy).
This is how we work with both church bodies as our partners. It provides accountability and shares resources to use your gifts wisely. Most importantly, it fulfills our objective to keep our work of mercy "connected to an altar." The ELCK does their work of mercy through the local pastor and congregatIon.
