However, we want you to know that everything to which we link is not necessarily a theological, political, or sociological endorsement. 1. General Information from Organizations Links to mountains of information. Especially here, you will find positions and social perspectives that Friends of Mercy does not support as a moral or Christian perspective. The government organizations are the ones who set policies for HIV\AIDS funding around the world.  

 

 Scientific Facts on AIDS This site provides general informatin on AIDS throughout the world. It nicely summarizes the UN report on AIDS. It contains three sections, 1. Summary, 2. Facts, 3. Source of infromation.

 UNAIDS web site A site that is dedicated to trying to unite information from all over the world about AIDS. It contains everything from policy-makers in various countries to individual stories about how HIV\AIDS affects people from countries around the world.

 AIDS Orphans - Vulnerable Children - This pdf is a report to congregss about the AIDS pandemic and its affects on AIDS orphans. The short summary at the beginning is worth a read with a multitude of information. VIDEO AIDS Orphans - Uganda - This  is from youtube and is about children in Uganda. It is a good video to introduce you to what AIDS Orphans face in sub-Saharan Africa.
